 LUNCHES

Lunches can be ordered on a Friday, during term times.  Parents will be advised at the beginning of each term when this becomes available.

 NEWSLETTERS

Our school newsletter, "INSIDE STORY", comes out on a Thursday every week.  This is a great source of communication between parents/caregivers and the school.  Newsletters are sent home via the eldest child in the family.  We ask that parents check their child's bags, at least once a week, for these publications. 

Information with regards to upcoming events, news of what the pupils in the school have been up to, staff changes and other jewels of information are published in this news piece.  If your child has achieved well in sport etc outside of the school, parents are encouraged to inform us of these achievements and we will print this in the next available publication.

PARKING

The car park outside the administration block is for staff only. Parent parking is in the area around the School Hall on Mill Road, as well as the public car park on Alfriston Road.  Car parks are a DANGEROUS place for children.  Please do not sit in your car and wave to your children to walk accross the carpark/road to meet you in your car.  Please leave your car, meet your child on the paths provided and walk them safely to your car. 

PARENT/TEACHER ASSOCIATION (PTA)

We are fortunate to have a very supportive group of parents who work under the umbrella PTA.  They meet once a month, in the school staff room to discuss fund raising ideas and for those families who are new to the school, this is a great way to meet people and make yourself known in the community. 

 PERSONAL ITEMS

From time to time children bring personal items (toys, books, jewellery, sports gear etc) to school.  While not trying to dampen children's enthusiasm ,it is preferable for these to remain at home. 

Often items are broken or misplaced, resulting in the children, and sometimes parents, becoming upset.  The school can accept no responsibility for loss of personal belongings and if children continue to bring them, it is at their own risk.
