ALFRISTON SCHOOL
The Staff, Pupils and Board of Trustees at Alfriston School, welcome you and your family to Alfriston School. We hope your time involved with our school will be worthwhile, rewarding and enjoyable.
Alfriston is a medium sized school with a roll range of approximately 320-360 pupils. At present all our newly enrolled pupils come from the Alfriston School zone, with an occasional pupil coming from the out-of-zone area.
The community has high expectations and pride in its school; it also offers full and complete support in its many activities; this has helped to develop a strong bond between parents and the school.
The staff believe that the close co-operation of home and school is vital for effective intellectual growth, and look forward to frequent contact with parents. They particularly welcome and appreciate assistance with class activities and involvement in sporting and cultural pursuits.
This booklet is designed to present general information about the school and how it works. Naturally it is impossible to cover all contingencies, or every aspect, as some procedures and routines do change as time goes on.
Please, if any question you have about the school is not answered in the publication, do not hesitate to contact the school and seek the information you require.
