End of Year Celebration and Thanks

Time to Shine Concert

Our Time to Shine concert was a great way to end the year and definitely a highlight for me. I loved seeing all the learners confidently and proudly performing for the community. Thank you to the caregivers who sent messages of thanks or let the staff know how much they enjoyed the event, your acknowledgments were appreciated.

A MASSIVE thank you to Mainfreight who instantly agreed to assist with our event when I contacted them. They were so easy to deal with and so keen to help a local school – what an awesome company! A special shout out to Avatar Bhinder who was the driver that owned this truck. He gave up his evening to support our school and learners – we are so grateful!

Friends and Family Team

I want to thank Mrs Davies and her wonderful Friends and Family team. This year you have provided our learners with many fun events and supported the school by raising additional funds. Keep an eye out around school to see some great improvements.

I hope you all have a wonderful Summer holiday and I look forward to working with you again in 2023.

I encourage all caregivers to join this great group of parents. I know they are a fun.                      group, as well as being very supportive and hard working.                         Remember: ‘Many hands make light work’

Office Hours 1st / 2nd Feb 2023

The school office will be open 2pm – 6pm on Wednesday 1st February and Thursday 2nd February. The purpose of these opening times is for whānau to collect uniform items. You can purchase uniform on kindo prior to the 1st of February and then come and collect it.

Stationery is to be purchased on kindo and will be delivered to your child’s class. You do not need to come and pick up stationery.

Summer Pool Passes

It has been great to see those who purchased Summer pool passes enjoying the pool over the last few days.

An important reminder:                                                                                                                *The pool pass your whānau purchased is for your immediate families use. Please do not pass the pool pass on to others or bring additional families along.

The small pool:                                                                                                                                As a school we have worked tirelessly for a long time to ensure the quality of the job is of an acceptable standard. We were not happy to accept a sub standard job, as this pool is a valuable school asset. We will continue to persist and ensure the pool is ready as soon as possible, but more importantly that the pool will be completed so that the learners now and long into the future can enjoy it.
