NOTICES

BOOK WEEK

Book has started with great excitement! Learners have had quizzes, guess the teachers favourite book, they have been read to by a guest teacher and buddy read with other classes!   They are also experiencing some wonderful visiting authors to inspire them!

Of course…the big event is the Book Character Parade!  This is held on Friday and we encourage all learners (and teachers) to dress as their favourite book character.

Dont forget you can purchase books in the PAC today and Thursday from 2.45pm-3.15pm (eftpos is available)

Strategic Plan Community Voice

A big thank you to everyone who have responded to our survey, so far we have had about 30% of our school provide feedback for us.  We would love to have more!  The more voices we have the more diverse our approach can be – LETS HERE FROM EVERYONE!

Health and Safety

With the current illnesses around at this time of year the MOE has sent a message out for parents, please see below.

Kia ora koutou,

As you will know, communities across New Zealand are experiencing high rates of winter illnesses. We understand that some parents have been finding it tricky to know when their child is well enough to attend school and when an unwell child should be at home. Please see the following guidance provided by Health New Zealand with our school community:

How to decide if a child is well enough to be at school or early learning – Ministry of Education

Drop off and Pick up Information

Please show patience and cooperation in keeping our learners and community safe every day!  If you are unsure of the expecations please ask a staff member and they will be able to help you out.
