Out of Zone Enrolment

The 2027 ballot is now open and will be drawn in October 2026. Ballot dates are yet to be confirmed by the MOE. Ballot will close early October 2026.

It is highly unlikely we will have any positions for New Entrants and Year 1 learners. The actual number of positions for each year level will be confirmed by the Board in Term 3 2026.

Please note due to a Ministry of Education directive we cannot guarantee out of zone siblings will be accepted.

Learners who are successful in this ballot must start on the first day of Term 1 2027. We complete a ‘Setting Up for Success’ programme in the first 3 weeks of school and it is important new learners are present.

Alfriston School hours are 8.45am-2.45pm.

Alfriston School offers many great learning opportunities. The expectation is that all learners participate in all classes and extra curricular activities including Camps, Swimming, Sporting events.

After school care onsite is available through Chatz. Chill Out also collects learners from our school and takes them to an after school care venue in Papakura.

Alfriston School has a limited in-zone bus run. We are not on a public transport route. Make sure you have your pick up and drop off schedule sorted before applying.
