Good afternoon,
Just a reminder that Monday 29th June is our School Cross Country event. The schedule for the races remains the same.
As the weather is currently cold and unpredictable, please ensure your child comes to school well prepared for the day.
Alfriston School Cross Country Day – Please ensure your child:
Wears suitable running shoes that are appropriate for muddy conditions (please do not wear school shoes).
Wears their house colours.
Brings a named, full drink bottle of water.
Brings an extra snack to take out – have it labelled
Brings warm clothing, a rain jacket (in case of rain), a change of clothes (school uniform)
Years 4-8 to bring a spare pair of shoes and socks as we will be running through the paddocks
We invite all parents and whānau to come along and support their children during the event.
Wet weather:
In the event of extremely bad weather, the Cross Country will be postponed. A decision will be made by 8:00am on Monday 29th June. If the event is postponed, a notification will be sent via text message and email, and an update will be posted on the Alfriston School Facebook page.
